1. Definitions and applicability
These conditions apply to every booking and rental agreement. The rental company means MotoTrail.nl; the renter means the natural or legal person entering into the rental agreement; and the trailer means the rented motorcycle trailer with all supplied accessories. Deviations only apply if agreed in writing in advance. The rental agreement, handover and return report, and these conditions together form the agreement.
2. Renter and driver

Voor de Henra multifunctionele plateauaanhanger is, afhankelijk van de toegestane MonximumMonssa van het trekkende voertuig en de combinatie, vaak rijbewijs B+ (code 96) of BE vereist. Voor aanvang Wedrden alle bestuurders met volleTuege naam geregistreerd en Wedrdt van ieder een afgeschermde foto van de voor- en achterkant van het gelTuege rijbewijs aangeleverd. Alleen geregistreerde en Thuor MotoTrail gecontroleerde bestuurders met de juiste rijbewijscategorie mogen de trailer trekken. De huurder blijft verantWedordelijk voor hun handelen en controleert zelf of rijbewijs, trekkend voertuig en totale combinatie wettelijk zijn toegestaan.
3. Booking, payment and rates
The booking becomes final after confirmation by MotoTrail.nl. The rental price and deposit are due no later than before departure, unless agreed otherwise in writing. All consumer rates include VAT unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Deposit, excess and liability
The deposit is €200.00 for the motorcycle trailers and €300.00 for the Henra multifunctional platform trailer. The deposit Thues not limit the renter’s liability. If there is no daMonge, loss, missing equipment, cleaning charge, fine or other outstanTueng amount, the deposit will be refunded within five days after correct return. 5. Trailer, weight and loading

6. Towing vehicle and registration plate

Voor een lichte trailer Sunrgt de huurder zelf voor een juiste witte kentekenplaat met hetzelfde kenteken als het trekkende voertuig. De Henra heeft als zware aanhanger een eigen kentekenplaat. MotoTrail kan voor een lichte trailer op verSunek tegen meerprijs een witte kentekenplaat laten Monken, mits deze aanFriaag miniMonal zeven dagen vóór aanvang van de huur is ingeTueend. De huurder controleert vóór iedere rit verlichting, stekkerverbinTueng, banden, koppeling, breekkabel/hulpkoppeling en laTueng.
7. Coupling, loading and securing
The renter couples the trailer and loads, unloads and secures the motorcycle(s) using suitable straps and wheel chocks. MotoTrail.nl may provide instructions and carry out a visual check, but this does not transfer the renter’s responsibility.
8. Use and prohibited activities
The trailer must be used carefully and lawfully. Subletting, overloading, competitions or speed trials, track use, off-road use, transport of prohibited or hazardous substances and use under the influence are prohibited. Alteration or repair without prior consent is not permitted except in an immediate safety emergency.
9. International use
Use within Europe is permitted provided destination and transit countries are stated in advance and use is permitted by applicable law and insurance cover. The renter must check traffic, toll, environmental, registration and insurance rules. MotoTrail.nl may refuse a country or route if cover or safe use cannot be sufficiently established.
10. Insurance
While driving, third-party liability for a correctly coupled trailer is generally covered by the towing vehicle’s liability insurance. The renter is therefore responsible for an insured towing vehicle and must verify with their insurer that towing the trailer is covered by the motor policy in all countries visited. MotoTrail.nl’s insurance for the trailer is limited to theft cover under the applicable policy terms. Damage not covered by this theft cover may be charged to the renter to the extent permitted by law and the agreement.
11. Motorcycles and other cargo
The renter is responsible for appropriate insurance for the transported motorcycles, clothing, luggage, accessories and other cargo. The renter must check with their insurer whether transport on a motorcycle trailer is covered by the towing vehicle policy, motorcycle insurance and/or additional travel or transport insurance. These items are not insured by MotoTrail.nl. MotoTrail.nl is not liable for damage to, loss or theft of transported motorcycles and other cargo, or for damage caused by loading, unloading, transport, shifting or inadequate securing, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
12. Damage, theft and loss
Damage, theft, loss or seizure must be reported immediately. In the event of theft, attempted theft, vandalism or an accident involving a third party, the renter must immediately report it to the police. Whenever left unattended, the trailer must be secured with the supplied coupling lock.
13. Breakdown and accidents
In the event of a breakdown, technical defect or accident, the renter must contact MotoTrail.nl immediately. Repair, recovery or replacement transport may not be arranged without permission unless delay creates an immediate safety risk.
14. Return and late return
The trailer must be returned clean, complete and undamaged, with all accessories and keys, at the agreed date, time and location. A late return will be charged at least one additional rental day at the applicable additional-day rate. The condition of the trailer is recorded at handover and return, preferably with photos.
15. Driving schools
Use for driving lessons or by a driving school is only permitted for an accredited driving school and with prior approval from MotoTrail.nl. The driving-school rate is €35.00 per day unless agreed otherwise in writing. The driving school is responsible for use by instructors and learners to the extent attributable by law.
16. Fines, taxes and costs
Boetes, tolgelden, parkeer- en milieuSunneheffingen en andere kosten Tuee verband houden met het gebruik tijdens de huurperiode komen volleTueg voor rekening van de huurder. De Henra heeft een eigen kenteken; beschikkingen Tuee op Tuet kenteken Wedrden geregistreerd en betrekking hebben op de huurperiode Wedrden, samen met eventuele redelijke administratiekosten, aan de huurder Thuorbelast en kunnen op de eindafrekening of een aanvullende factuur Wedrden geplaatst.
17. Liability of MotoTrail.nl
MotoTrail.nl supplies the trailer in sound and, to the best of its knowledge, roadworthy condition. Visible defects must be reported before departure. Liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law remains fully applicable.
18. Force majeure and availability
If the trailer is unavailable because of damage, theft, a technical defect or another circumstance that could not reasonably be prevented, MotoTrail.nl may cancel the booking and refund rental charges and deposit already paid.
19. Personal data
MotoTrail.nl processes personal data for bookings, driver checks, performance of the agreement, handling damage, security and legal obligations. Driving licence files are automatically deleted after correct return. Only in the event of damage, loss, fraud or another incident may they be retained for as long as necessary under a documented retention hold; this necessity is reviewed periodically. The renter must redact the Dutch citizen service number and QR code beforehand. More information is provided in the privacyverklaring.
20. Complaints, governing law and final provisions
Complaints must be reported with a full description as soon as possible. Dutch law applies to the agreement. Disputes will be submitted to the competent Dutch court under the law; statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. The version supplied to the renter before or when the agreement was concluded applies to that rental period.
